These uniforms are designed specially for the Gateway, one as usual duty (left), and one for missions (right). They are made of light, hard-wearing material. The thin red stripe indicates which department the wearer specializes in (Red : Command, Blue : Sciences, Yellow : Security/Engineering). There are two parts to the duty uniform, the Jumper style top, and the Combat style trousers, both are designed especially to allow the wearer easy maneuver-ability.

Field Uniform

The Jacket in the mission uniform is made from 3 layers, 1 being resistant to phaser blasts (up to level 3), 1 being resistant to Fire, and one being resistant to many types of projectile weapons. These layers are hidden by the same material as the uniform. The Jacket has a homing device attached (below comm-badge) which allows the wearer to be tracked once they have passed through the Gateway.
